First Day

So I have found that I have been on west coast time this whole time. I woke up at 7 AM the first morning and realized that it was 10 AM east coast time. That’s normally when I would have to be at work in North Carolina. I was really tired so after a few rounds of solitaire I went back to sleep. I got up later and got ready to go into the city with my friend Jacky.

We went into the city to the mission, Fillmore street, and ended up in Japan town were we had lunch and looked around. We then went over to a friends house and picked up a microphone to help out with a documentary. Meet up with some other friends, we headed to the fire arts festival were Jacky and I worked as assistants. We got media passes and I got to help Jason Chinn, an awesome photographer for the night Surveying the site, carrying equipment, and scouting shots. The crucible of San Francisco hosts the event and it is completely volunteer run. It was an awesome night and I got to see some really cool stuff. We hung out with the FishBug crowd and Charles A. Gadeken‘s  group. It was a lot of fun and a super awesome way to start my new life in the bay area.

I checked out the vendors and walked through the Crucible’s class exhibits. That was a lot of fun. Man it was hard not spending any money with the vendors but I got some cards and hope to look them up when I have a job and money coming in. I hope to check out the crucible’s class schedule soon and see what I can get into. They had a lot of supper cool stuff there doing. I really want to get in on that.

Update me when site is updated
